[“Neighborhood watch,” Joan S. Hunt, November 10, 2014, Sentinel]
What a delightful upgrade for the phrase “neighborhood watch.” Joan was watching out for her neighbors, not out of fear, but rather out of love and gratitude. The divine protecting presence is not to be hoarded, and her generous prayer-embrace had immediate, practical results.
