God’s supply of good
Thank you for publishing the brave and insightful article by Joe Smuin, “Money, freedom, and what really sustains” (December 9, 2013, Sentinel). Joe offers a welcome spiritual perspective on macro-economic systems as well as individual finances. In pointing out that “the divine system of economics has nothing to do with either capitalism or communism,” he points us to Christian reliance on God’s constant spiritual supply of good that meets all of our genuine needs, including the need for health, peace, and the freedom to be generous with our friends and neighbors.

Overcoming frustration
[“Frustration foiled,” Channing Walker, December 2, 2013, Sentinel issue]
What a breathtaking, practical, powerful piece on letting Christ overcome frustration with the power and presence of Truth’s constant message to man of healing, smoothing away ungodlike thoughts and feelings. Thank you so much.

Saving this one!
[“Learning to yield,” Kathryn Jones Dunton, December 2, 2013, Sentinel issue]
Thank you so much for this article, Kathy. I have recently been struggling with a sense of frustration at work, and now I see so clearly that what needs handling is self-will, and a desire for my boss’s approval, rather than God's approval. A sense of peace and comfort washed over me as I read your article. I am saving this one!

Nothing else going on
[“Growth on head healed,” Donald R. Gregory,” December 2, 2013, Sentinel issue]
An absolutely wonderful healing, holding to Truth and seeing the nothingness of matter! God is all, so there can be nothing else going on. Just God! Thanks for sharing your healing.

Planning on sharing this
[“Gratitude and the healing of cancer,” Pamela Herzer, November 25, 2013, Sentinel issue]
Thank you, Pamela. I am holding to the Psalmist’s words that you quoted: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord” (Psalms 118:17). It certainly doesn’t matter what the claim, but in today’s world, the C word [cancer] seems to have power to strike fear into the heart. It’s so important for us to share how we have overcome the temptation to believe the world thought, and gratitude is the pathway. I plan to share this testimony with others who are right now dealing with this prolific belief. All blessings are at hand!
