Depth and clarity

[“How Christian Science heals mental illness,” Diane Dailey, July 22 & 29, 2013, Sentinel]

Thank you, Diane. I love this “treatment” on our inviolate spiritual identity. In the light of several similarly wonderful Sentinel audio chats in recent weeks (on no condemnation, on no heredity, among others), I clearly saw reading this, how important it is to stop delving into our “human emotions or past experiences” in an attempt to understand “the problem.” I suddenly thought, “Thus far, and no farther,” about several issues that have arisen recently among family and friends, where we have all been so easily tempted to do just that!

So thank you again for sharing the depth and clarity of your understanding with us.

A happier standpoint

[“A lesson in letting go,” Teri La Quey, July 18, 2013, “Living Christian Science Today” blog, JSH-Online.com]

Thank you, Teri. This is the second time I have read this today, and it is exactly what God has been telling me, trusting God to take care of me and mine. I am to have more God in the equation and less me, so I have been filling my thought with God qualities, working out from the seven synonyms for God we have been given.

Hurray for a happier standpoint!

Prayers for innocence

[“Prayer that defends the innocent,” Judy Cole, July 15, 2013, Sentinel]

It is possible that this is a topic, because of its unsavory nature, that is easy to walk around and not address directly in our prayers on a regular basis. But if we love our fellow man, we must see them in their innocent state, as God’s children who can never defile or be defiled.

Thank you so much, Judy, for bringing this issue to the forefront.

Host a blessing shower

[“Blessing showers,” Virginia Hughes, July 8, 2013, Sentinel]

So today’s purpose is to host a blessing shower! Wherever we are, to whomever we’re speaking. I am God’s blessing, you are God’s blessing. Active and fruitful.

Beautiful, Virginia. Thank you!
