Thank you for your editorial, “Stop the hate; start the love,” in the April 22 Sentinel. I received it on April 15—the day of the bombing at the Boston Marathon. Although the editorial cited current world issues, your emphasis on “Divine Love’s allness ...” and “Hatred ... has never been and never will be a part of God’s plan for humanity” is comforting, calming, and healing to those affected by the attack. Recognizing God’s eternal love for mankind is truly the answer to meeting world challenges. In the words of Mary Baker Eddy, “Fed by Thy love divine we live, / For Love alone is Life” (Christian Science Hymnal, Hymn 30).

I found the article, “Love’s transparency and the diamond ring,” by Sheila Shayon (April 22, 2013) met my need immediately! After our “home” church service, a member lost a very small, expensive item in our front yard grass, and the next day I was asked if I’d look for it. As I knelt down an idea from the article, “as a transparency for God’s wisdom,” kept my thought on God. I had decided not to say I’m going to look for it, but I’m going to find it, and I saw it right away.
