Earache healed
When I was little, I often had earaches. My mom or dad would come and pray with me. And the earaches would stop.
Earlier this year, I woke up with another earache. It was very painful, and I was crying. I didn’t want to wake up my parents, so I decided to pray by myself. I started by opening up to a random page in the Bible. The page happened to contain the verse from Romans: “Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (8:39). Reading this verse calmed me down and I stopped crying. I realized that nothing could stand between me and God. I am God’s perfect reflection and His child, with no flaws whatsoever. I also read passages from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and all of Mary Baker Eddy’s “What Christmas Means to Me” (The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, pp. 261–263).
The pain started to fade and I was able to go to sleep.
