'I REFUSED TO LET FEAR IMPRESS ME'

Both my husband and I were familiar with Christian Science growing up, but in the mid-1980s we began studying it more diligently, as well as praying with a Christian Science practitioner to better understand our relationship with God.

During this time, we were starting a new business venture, a small, educational publishing company. We prayed to know that in this new venture, we were going about God's business, and that nothing could keep us from success. We both experienced a much calmer sense of the allness of God, or Mind, and gained a better understanding of our oneness with God.

One healing that took place during this period remains a touchstone to me of the effectiveness of Christian Science healing. It has helped me realize that I cannot be tricked by the disguise of error, or kept from seeing and feeling God's goodness.
