HEALED OF ILLNESS WHILE TRAVELING

While I was in college, I studied abroad with a group of students in Austria for three weeks. The night before I was to fly home to the United States, I didn't sleep well.

The next day, I had several connecting flights. On the flight from Austria to Germany, I began to feel ill and feverish. By the time we arrived in Germany, I was experiencing such severe stomach discomfort that it was painful for me to stand up. With a two-hour wait until my flight to Colorado, I decided to sit in a quiet corner of the airport and pray.

I reached out to God for help. After a short time of praying, with little improvement, I called a Christian Science practitioner in the US and asked for prayerful support. We talked briefly about two ideas from the Bible.
