ON THE TABLET OF YOUR HEART
THIS WEEK'S Bible Lesson, titled "Truth," shares the wisdom that truth isn't discovered or discerned with the intellect, but with the heart.
In the Bible, heart often appears to represent our desires, our will, and the essence of who we are as God's likeness. The Hebrew word for heart is leb, which is defined in Strong's concordance as "inner man, mind, will, heart, understanding."
This week's Lesson presents a collection of inspired wisdom from the books of Proverbs and Psalms, and from the Gospels. This wisdom makes it clear that the best way to discover and live the truth is through desires of the heart—through humility, honesty, and unselfed love.
