MY CHILD'S HEALINGS
When our daughter was a toddler, she tripped while running around the house and fell against a wooden dining room chair. I quickly went to her and picked her up to comfort her. As I was doing so, I noticed that one of her top front baby teeth had become dislodged, so I very gently pushed her tooth back into place.
As our daughter calmed down, my husband, who is not a Christian Scientist, suggested that we take her to an emergency dental service to see if there was anything they could do to make sure her tooth was properly in place. So we got into the car, and I sat with my daughter in the back seat, comforting her and reassuring her during the drive. We arrived at the dental practice only to find that it wasn't open.
It was at that point that I knew with great conviction that God provides us with 24-hour care. As we were driving back home, my husband was very quiet, and I reassured him that we could trust the care and well-being of our daughter to her Father-Mother God, and all would be well. My husband agreed to rely on prayer-based healing in Christian Science. I felt an absolute conviction, a comforting and powerful feeling, that we could never be outside of God's loving embrace, not for a moment. Our daughter woke the next morning without any discomfort, and she was able to eat normally.
