CHILDREN WILL SOON be able to combine playing a new online game while learning about such themes as adversity, creation, or wisdom, the Canadian Bible Society says. YaHero is an interactive gaming website where children aged eight to 11 can take on quests in a virtual world, ChristianWeek reports.
"YaHero is the first-ever Bible-based virtual world for kids," Dale LoFranco, YaHero's executive director, told ChristianWeek.
The newspaper said that children are able to create and customize their own avatar to explore the virtual world. YaHero, which goes live [February 1], will unveil a new quest each month that will include a series of mini-games, such as puzzles, quizzes, and searches. ...
