COLD SYMPTOMS GONE
One day a number of years ago, I developed a bad cold with all the usual symptoms. Seeing my discomfort, my husband asked, "Why don't you do something about your cold?" I replied that I was trying to pray about it through Christian Science. I was used to turning to Christian Science for healing, and I spent the day praying diligently, although the symptoms still persisted.
As I prayed, I opened my thought to divine direction, trusting that God would supply me with spiritual ideas that would bring healing. I knew that prayer would reveal the truth about my health and thereby uncover any impediments to clear spiritual thinking—since I reflected purity and honesty as a child of God.
