MANY PROOFS OF GOD'S CARE

I would like to express my sincerest gratitude for Christian Science. I was raised in Christian Science, and over the years, I have had many opportunities to prove this spiritual healing method works. I was healed of a lump under my arm when I was teenager. My mother prayed with me. We agreed that if it didn't come from Truth, God, it couldn't be true. The next time we looked, the lump had disappeared.

I pray daily for myself and the world. Christian Science has been the answer to anything and everything I've ever needed. From healings of common colds, flu symptoms, a swelled ankle, to finding employment, Christian Science has been a light in the darkness. I've learned to look to God for answers by working to understand my relation to Him.

Most recently, I was moving some patio furniture when I realized I was being stung repeatedly by yellow jackets, all in the same area of my left hand. Initially I felt a lot of pain and was taken aback by how quickly my hand puffed up. By the time I stepped into the house to call a Christian Science practitioner for help, my hand was too swollen to see my knuckles. After talking with the practitioner about the love God had for me and all His creatures, I noticed that the pain was already diminishing. I continued to pray with the thought that God created everything good, including yellow jackets. They were not created in the spirit of fear but of love. I also knew that as an idea of God, I was free from pain and swelling.
