WHEN I NEEDED A BEST FRIEND
"I was never really your friend. I just pretended to be your friend!"
That's what a former friend told me a couple of years ago. That experience taught me that when I've felt the need to surround myself with lots of friends, I haven't always found what makes me happy.
For the 2008-2009 school year, I was homeschooled as a seventh grader. Also, most of the time, I'm the only student attending my Christian Science Sunday School. I used to play softball, but now I study music and dance, and these activities don't always give me the opportunity to have a large group of friends. So this is why I've sometimes faced loneliness.
