perspectives on 'taking class'
I OFTEN DREAMED about the possibility of taking Christian Science class instruction, but not until recently did I feel that the time was right.
My parents were practicing Christian Scientists, and I attended Sunday School and had many healings while living at home. But then I drifted away from our church and stopped attending the services.
Still, during my adult life the teachings of Christian Science remained part of me. I found tremendous help in the Christian Science periodicals and Bible Lessons, read everything more than once, and loved having that connection with my religion. And I always identified myself as a Christian Scientist, even though I put other things first.
