HEALING AND THE HUMAN BRAIN
JESUS MAY NOT HAVE KNOWN ANYTHING ABOUT PARIETAL LOBES, BUT HE DID KNOW THAT HIS FATHER (AND OURS) IS A LOVING GOD.
A RECENT ISSUE of Time magazine featured the cover story, "How Faith Can Heal," (February 23, 2009). The title suggests a message about religion, but in fact discussion of the human brain dominates the presentation; the article outlines the influence of religious thinking on the brain and the brain's ability to influence and enhance prayer.
