IMAGINE HAVING A VISION or inspiration so wonderful that everything suddenly seems brighter, as though you were enveloped in light. Wouldn't you be brimming over with a desire to share that light with others — family, friends, or even complete strangers? Christ Jesus' followers knew this feeling. For them, this light was the Christ, the truth which their Master taught and lived. And, they followed him by living that light — by loving their neighbors, preaching the gospel, healing the sick, and raising the dead.

This week's Christian Science Bible Lesson on "Man" shows why this light is natural to everyone and what it means, in the words of this Lesson's "Golden Text," to be and to live as "children of light."
