Prayer on the ice
I play ice hockey, and it's a great chance to pray. When you're playing hockey, it's a good time to think peacefully and listen to God. When I do, I know that God and I are never separated.
One time, a player on my team checked me. That means he knocked me over. And he knocked my glove off and skated over my wrist. It made a long cut on my wrist. I was mad at this boy because I was hurt and he didn't seem to care. But it was in the middle of the game. So I just got up and started to play again.
The cut did not need a bandage, but it was there for about a week. I then realized that I had not prayed about it, because I had been so upset.
