our BIG HELP at sports games—God

I LOVE SOCCER VERY MUCH

Hi! I'm Rachel. I'd like to tell you a story about soccer. I love soccer very much. One night I was at soccer practice. My teammate was passing the ball to me. She was the best player on the team and had a very strong kick. The ball hit me very hard in the face. It almost knocked me down.

It hurt a lot. I started to cry. I wouldn't open my eye. The coach came over. The whole team came over. My mom came, too, to check if I was all right. Mom and I prayed. I knew that God was there and I was in His love. Since at first I couldn't see properly, Mom talked to me about how Jesus had healed people who were blind. I though that I could not be blinded from God's love. I started feeling better.

I knew that my teammate did not mean to hit me in the face. The girl came up to me and hugged me and said she was sorry. Then, guess what! The coach gave me a water break. Mom and I kept praying. After a few minutes, my eye did not hurt anymore. I decided to go back into the practice. I played and played. My face and eye were fine!
