IN THE NEWS A SPIRITUAL PERSPECTIVE
Shedding a spiritual light on immigration
In support of readers' prayers for solutions to world problems of all kinds, this weekly feature offers spiritual insights that point to healing. This week's article features excerpts from a spirituality.com online chat with EBERHARD LASCH, a teacher and practitioner of Christian Science from Mexico City. He responded to site visitors' questions and comments about immigration, a subject of importance to people and their government from Africa to North America. To hear the entire chat, go to www.spirituality.com/chats/immigration.
I'VE BEEN THINKING and praying to see that all mankind has no lack wherever they are. Do you have additional ideas?
Underneath all these immigration problems, as with many other problems, there is fear—fear of lack of money, lack of security, of justice, of harmony. Just recently someone asked me, "What are you seeing in your travels when you speak with all kinds of people? What are people looking for?"
