My pop, pal, and companion for over a quarter of a century hadn't always been a close friend.

It wasn't until I learned more about God as the divine Parent that my relationship with my dad was strengthened.

I was a kid without siblings. Through my early childhood years, Mom was my dearest friend and confidant. Her sudden passing left me feeling lonely—and standing alongside a father I felt I hardly knew. Our relationship seemed awkward and superficial.
