EFFECTS FROM DOG ATTACK HEALED THROUGH PRAYER

One afternoon, several years ago, I'd spent some time studying and praying in the local Christian Science Reading Room. Feeling spiritually refreshed, I pulled into the carport of my son's home, where I'd been living at the time.

I'd just closed my car door, when an enormous white Akita dog, which belonged to a family friend, bounded toward me. This dog was usually kept securely on a leash or chain, and the few times I'd been around it, it hadn't been friendly.

As soon as the dog came near, it snarled and leaped at me quickly, blocking my path into the house. It bit my hand and arm. Soon, the dog's teeth caught in the straps of my sandals, which slowed his attack. I was screaming for help, and my son and the pet's owner came running from the house. They quickly helped pull the dog off me.
