'I LET GOD IN'
My mom, dad, and I went out to eat at a restaurant. As we were ending the meal, I went to the restroom, and as I was coming out, my finger got caught in the swinging door. I couldn't reach the handle right away to open the door, and I was too scared to try to get my finger out. However, my mom, who was nearby, opened the door, so I was free pretty quickly.
I started to cry and scream because my finger hurt so much. My dad covered it so we could start to pray without seeing such a scary sight—a deep dent in my finger.
I was saying to myself, "Why? Why today? Why ever?" I was having such a good time being out to dinner with my parents. Why was it ruined?
