Not too long ago, my mom went to take my dog kia outside. When she opened the door, my other puppy, Marco, went bursting outside and ran into the woods. I went outside to help my mom.

I have to admit I was scared something could happen to Marco. While my mom went into the woods and started calling for Marco, I held Kia. I remembered what my grandma had said at another time, when Kia ran away. She said, "God's thoughts are going to animals, too, and they hear and respond to Him." So I could trust that God was telling Marco to do the right thing and come back home.

My mom came back to the house–without Marco. We Kept praying. Soon after, we heard Marco's tags. Then we saw Marco coming from the forest. When he saw us, he ran right up to us with a great big grin on his face.
