I like reading now

Last year in fifth grade, everyone in my class had to read at least 18 books. It was a lot of work. When we finished a book, we had to do a project about it, like write a book report, make up a play, or draw a poster. Then we would share with the rest of the class what the book was about and what we had learned from our reading.

When I finished my required reading, I felt really good. But what felt even better was that I had had a really good healing.

For a while, I was having problems with my eyes. They were not working well together, so reading was very, very difficult. At my old school, the teachers asked my parents to take me to see eye doctor. The doctor said that I should go to another doctor to help me do eye exercises. We talked with the other doctor, but I really didn't like going there. After a few visits, my parents and I decided to just pray about this eye problem, so I didn't go back again. I thought that God could heal this better than any eye exercises could.
