A MAJOR CHANGE OF PERSPECTIVE
God answers our prayer through transformed thinking.
God does answer prayer. But how?
When we reach out to God for help, we find the answer in the way our thoughts change and become aligned with His goodness and intelligence. Our estimation of situations and prospects then comes under the influence of God, who is Love itself, rather than becoming dragged down in despair or desolation. Such transformation of thought heals. It moves our focus away from fear, toward seeking and feeling divine goodness and perfection.
The Apostle Paul brought out this idea in his letter to the Christians in Rome: "Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God" (Rom. 12:2). A transformation of thought (or a renewing of the mind) can trigger a major change of perspective and actually bring physical and emotional healing.
