IT WAS AN even better home
Years ago my wife and I were renting a lovely house in a very nice and friendly neighborhood. It bordered a golf course, and was in an excellent school district for our three children. We couldn't afford to buy our own home at that time, but as the owner of this house was overseas on a long assignment, it looked as if we'd have a great deal going for quite a while.
But suddenly our beautiful, peaceful sense of home was threatened.
