HEALING IS ALWAYS POSSIBLE

My parents' steadfast trust in God, along with the opportunity to attend a Christian Science Sunday School, laid a strong foundation for my spiritual education. During my college years, however, the prospect of finding happiness through material pursuits drew me away from my religious grounding. After graduation, I devoted myself to achieving success on my own terms, both personally and professionally, and that meant leaving Christian Science behind.

Or so I thought. Over a period of about ten years, it became obvious to me that living inconsistently with the Bible's teachings was fruitless. A series of inharmonious relationships, coupled with a physical condition that had been diagnosed as an incurable bone disease, finally turned me back to God and Christian Science.

Around this time, I was offered a job transfer from the East Coast to California. I was grateful for the fresh start this afforded, and turned wholeheartedly to God for direction and guidance. The answer as to where to settle came almost immediately.
