MOVING ASIDE THE STONE OF THOUGHT

The prophet Isaiah wasn't exaggerating when he said, "... and a little child shall lead them" (11:6). Over and over again, my eight-year-old grandson, Collin, shares such profound spiritual glimpses with me that they don't just lead me—they propel me into accepting a more spiritual view of myself and others.

It happened recently as I was telling Collin the Easter story. When we got to the part where Jesus had to roll the stone away from the mouth of the tomb, I told him that this rock was huge—way too big for one man to move by himself.

So I said, "Collin, how do you think he was able to move that big stone?"
