BREATHING DIFFICULTY CURED QUICKLY
One Wednesday evening in 2005, shortly after I had arrived to open our church for the midweek testimony meeting, I was attacked by a bout of breathlessness so severe that I stopped momentarily and leaned against my car for support. As I proceeded across the road from the car park, every movement was difficult and progress was slow.
A Bible verse had come to mind immediately: "The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life" (Job 33:4). I held to this truth, knowing that the power of God was behind it.
I managed to carry out all the duties required of me as usher for the evening, although I continued to gasp for breath. Later, I spent a restless night, despite praying with spiritual truths that I knew had the power to heal me. Any movement was still painful and exhausting.
