I COULD WALK WITH FREEDOM AGAIN
A friend had come over to do some handyman jobs for me. I was literally running around showing him what I wanted done. And in my hurry, I tripped and fell down the basement steps—concrete steps at that!—injuring one of my feet.
I immediately began to pray, rejecting the thought that there could be accidents because I knew God is always looking after us.
As a Christian Scientist, I've learned to promptly reject any harmful material condition as unreal because it doesn't come from God, and to affirm my spiritual identity as the image and likeness of God. Over the years, I and my family have had many wonderful healings through this kind of prayer.
