A WHOLE FAMILY BENEFITS

A few years ago, while I was traveling in Spain with my daughter, I twisted my ankle when my foot became caught in a ditch. Immediately, I began to pray for myself. But by the time we returned to our hotel lobby, my leg had begun to swell badly and I found that I could not walk at all.

People around me were worried and brought some ice cubes to apply to my leg. The group soon left for an evening tour, after showing much concern over my situation. One said, "You might not be able to sleep tonight because of the pain." As they were leaving, I told my daughter that I would heal this injury through Christian Science.

All alone in my hotel room, I was able to pray quietly in bed. I recalled the experience when I gave birth to my son. After the baby came, the afterbirth did not take place, and the doctor decided that an operation would be necessary. The obstetrical team went out of the room to prepare for surgery. Left alone, I repeatedly called out, "God, help me! ... God, I know You can help me!" When the doctor returned, the discharge took place naturally, and there was no need to operate.
