YEARS AGO I attended a Governor's Prayer Breakfast. I had looked forward to it especially because I felt the scheduled keynote speaker, a renowned international figure, would be delivering a powerful message. We learned at the last moment, however, that this gentleman was unable to attend. Instead, arrangements had been quickly made to have a local medical doctor speak to us. While I can't say that I was on the edge of my chair as he began, his talk turned out to be one of the more memorable I've heard.
