LETTERS

I am from the Philippines. When I arrived in Japan in January 2006, I looked into the possibility of attending a Christian Science church service every now and then. The distances were not practical, but I did not stop hoping.

Then last week, while reading the August 7 issue about Wednesday testimony meetings, I came across these lines in the article, "Every day can be a Wednesday," by Ruth Elizabeth Jenks: "There may not be a church near you. ... But that doesn't have to stop you from taking an hour ... each week to express gratitude to God for the blessings and healings you've had. ... And when we're truly filled with gratitude, every day can be a Wednesday!"

From these words I realized that through e-mail, as well as the post office mail, I can relate with church members at the branch church in Baguio in the Philippines, where I am a member. I can e-mail my testimonies.
