I turned to God

My dad and I were visiting at my nana's house. As we were getting ready to leave, Nana accidentally opened the door on my big toe. I was wearing sandals. The toe was torn, and the toenail came partly off. It really hurt and was bleeding badly. We washed and bandaged the toe.

We were going from Nana's to a basketball game I was playing in, and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to play. I prayed about this, and I was able to put on my shoe and play the game. I had some difficulty running, but I played well.

When we got home, I went to my room, shut the door, and got out my Bible. I turned to chapter two in the book of Mark. It talks about how Jesus healed a palsied man. While I was reading it, I found a verse I really liked. It's where Jesus said to the man, "Son, thy sins be forgiven thee" (Mark 2:5). I thought about this for a long time and understood something I hadn't seen before. God loves all His children, big or small, tall or short. Did He see one of His children out of His care? No.
