I listened to God

One day at Sunday School I had a stomachache. My teacher and I talked about the prophets Elijah and Elisha from the Bible. Elijah had a higher understanding of God. He was confident that God was with him. He cared about his student Elisha and wanted to help him feel God, too. Elisha listened and followed Elijah.

My teacher and I listened to good thoughts, too. Like Elijah and Elisha. We talked about how God loves everybody, and that made me happy. I remembered a girl at school that needed love. I thought I should be kinder to her, even if she wasn't my best friend. Earlier my mum and I had talked about that, too. We spoke of thoughts of Love as "chocolate thoughts" that I could share with this girl.

I forgot myself. And when Sunday School was finished, I was well.

I love God, the divine Mind, because He makes me feel alive and do helpful things.
