I trusted that God was healing me
About a year ago, I was playing basketball, when I went to block a shot and fell. I landed hard on my ankle. It was excruciating! I thought I would never be able to play again.
My dad took me to a doctor who put a cast on my leg. He said my ankle would take a month to heal. But I had just started going to the Christian Science Sunday School, and I knew that God could heal me. I'd been learning how to pray. So I decided to pray.
I thought about how I could not be hurt by something God did not make. I knew that God was my real Creator. And God would get me through this because He made man (that means me) in His image and likeness. God knows only good and makes only good.
