KNOW Who you really are

O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.—Psalms 139:1-4

A GOOD FRIEND of mine was struggling to find himself. He had gone through a period of depression and was feeling that his life no longer had any purpose or direction. Friends did much to help and be of support, but he seemed only to sink deeper into hopelessness and frustration. He felt as though he had lost his way, and beyond that, he despaired that he had lost his identity. He didn't know who he was any longer.
