ACTUALLY, WE'VE GOT IT pretty good here in Europe. Anyone who wants a yummy morning roll in the a.m. can go to the baker around the corner. The gas station for the car is also usually not too far, and if the faucet is dripping, you can find a plumber fast in the yellow pages.
Isn't it nice that so many people can offer their services to fulfill wishes or meet a need? Most of these people are reliable, and it's OK to employ their services.
Around this time, the world is remembering the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II. Its end ushered in, especially for Germans, an unprecedented era of peace.
