8 PEOPLE TELL HOW PRAYER MOVES US FORWARD
In one way or another, each of the following stories illustrates how turning to God helps bridge the sometimes painful periods of transition and turmoil that come to us all. Whether the circumstances involve a divorce, a relocation, or a sudden loss, the fact that we are never beyond the care and guidance of divine Love is the constant that we can count on to help us navigate change and maintain stability. In the words of Mary Baker Eddy: "The sharp experiences of belief in the supposititious life of matter, as well as our disappointments and ceaseless woes, turn us like tired children to the arms of divine Love. Then we begin to learn Life in divine Science." (Science and Health, p. 322).
