PRAYER POSTINGS
The human cry for help in South Asia has touched hearts. Here's sampling of prayers posted online at www.spirituality.com:
"We have a choice as to which way it will take us. Will the response of love be so overwhelming that it makes a new meaning for humanitarianism? Will our collective prayers make the presence of God be felt so strongly that a new world community will form based upon oneness with God?"
"I live in Africa. All too often we live with anxiety, fear, suffering, injustice, and all other ills, but never have I wondered where my Lord is, because I know that evil is not of the Lord. To all the survivors, I say never wonder why is happened, give thanks and praise. To the children who are now orphans, Lord shield them the way a mother hen protects her chicks. And finally, Lord, for the victims, please give them eternal rest. Amen."
