Leaving the 'comfort zone'
'I JUST DON'T HAVE TIME to do any Christian Science Organization activities this year!"
This was my justification during my sophomore year at the University of Miami. I had classes from 9-5 almost every day, plus I was the lead in a play that rehearsed from 7-11 each night—not to mention the homework that I would generally leave until early the next morning.
Toward the end of the school year, I realized that the pressures of school had distracted me from what was most important in my life. God has always been the main reason for my happiness and inspiration, so how could I trun away from helping others know that Someone is always loving and protecting them?
