Prayer addresses iron deficiency in pregnancy
During my first two pregnancies, I was diagnosed by my nurse-midwife as anemic. She told me that the iron levels in my blood were low to the point of being dangerous for childbirth.
Both times, after having Christian Science treatment for the condition, a normal balance was restored, and a safe and natural delivery followed.
I was pretty disappointed when this iron deficiency came up again when I was expecting my third child. I had already spent many hours in prayer and thought I had found permanent freedom. But I had to admit that I did feel rundown and tired—I was going to bed early and napping whenever possible.
