LORETTA LAROCHE: 'Ta-dah!'
Loretta LaRoche is known for using insightful hilarity to lift spirits—her work exemplifies the growing awareness of the power of love to heal, what Mary Baker Eddy once called "the leaven of Truth" at work. An international lecturer and author in the field of stress management, LaRoche loves life and works to show that laughter of the kinder sort brings more life to everyday life, even if it comes at the expense of our own self-seriousness. Her quest: bring kind laughter to a stress-filled world.
Though often described as irreverent, LaRoche's common-sense wit nevertheless inspires audiences to see that a positive view—one that looks for the good—is healthier than a tendency toward anger and negativity.
When staff editor Patricia Kadick spoke with her recently, LaRoche said, "I love to talk about this, because humor is about spirituality. People don't always get that."
