It is with tremendous peace that I express my sincere thanks for the Sentinel, its contributors, and editors. The June 16 issue ["Road maps for a changing world"] has elevated this sense of peace in me, and has inspired gratitude for Christian Science and the power it brings to our lives.
In that issue, Makengo Ma Pululu's experiences ["They 'walked in peace with God'"] shattered my fears of my family's impending homelessness, and gave me the courage to let go of all concern that we could possibly be separated from our Father's love, care, and protection. What courage and conviction this dear man has proved.
And in the same issue, Karim Ajania's article about his grandfather ["The Sadhu of Nairobi"] lifted me beyond the limitation of having to have, and move, and house "our things." They are not mine, and I am not responsible for their care. But they are God's, and God will keep them (and us) in the appropriate place.
