Prayers for peace
Although the intense fighting in Iraq has ended, the need for ongoing prayer continues. And not only for Iraq, but for conflicts across the globe. At this time, the world is engaged in more than 33 armed conflicts. With this in mind, the Sentinel will continue to feature your prayers for peace.

History has shown that we often don't know the behind-the-scenes politics and strategies that drive leaders to make certain decisions. Knowing this makes it easier for me to avoid assigning blame. Humans on either side of a conflict don't always know how to do the right thing. That's why it helps to have God to clean up things. And so I pray.
