Heaven everywhere
"t" looks like a cross
and acts like a cross,
for when added to "here"
and it becomes "there,"
we are challenged to prove
God's kingdom everywhere.
Gone are cozy isolation
and judgments personal.
The message of the cross
is love universal—
Love dissolving fear and hate,
Life defying death,
Soul annulling mortal ego
with immortal sentiments—
For Jesus bore the cross
so that God's will be done
on earth as in heaven,
proving heaven and earth one.
Our cross may be heavy
to carry at first,
but it will elevate us
to see God's universe;
And heaven everywhere.
