GATHERING NEWS STORIES with a spiritual perspective week by week, we wondered what kinds of material the Sentinel of 100 years ago carried. Here is a glimpse into some of the Items of Interest and other excerpts from the Sentinel at the start of the 20th century.
Of course the world is growing better; the Lord reigns; our old planet is wheeling slowly into fuller light. I despair of nothing good. All will come in due time that is really needed. All we have to do is to work—and wait.
