Severe hand sores cured

During my late teenage years, I stopped attending church and studying Christian Science. So a couple of years later, when sores started appearing on my hands, I didn't turn to prayer for healing. I just put some lotion on them and wore cotton gloves. I was a truck mechanic at the time. But the sores got so bad on both hands that I couldn't turn a wrench, and my fellow employees convinced me to see a doctor.

The doctor couldn't identify the condition or offer any relief, so he referred me to a skin specialist. The specialist was alarmed by the condition, because he had never seen anything like it. He referred me to a laboratory, where I was examined by three research scientists who asked questions and took pictures to document this unfamiliar condition.

Needless to say, I left there concerned. By the time I got home, I knew I had to call a Christian Science practitioner to pray for me. I told her the whole story and added that I felt a little guilty asking God for help after having abandoned church for so long. The practitioner assured me that God had never stopped loving me, that I was never separated from Him, and that I need not feel guilty or unworthy. She said I could just see myself as God's child, who deserved healing.
