JEFF'S PERSONAL RULE BOOK
Support alternative energy sources, such as wind-powered generators and solar heaters.
Preserve wetlands, and understand the reason why you're doing it.
Don't buy any species of caged birds. (There's a huge trade in endangered species going on worldwide, particularly in parrots and macaws.)
Support the movement toward "clean timber," which has not been cut illegally inside national parks.
Encourage young people to read books on nature and watch National Geographic documentaries and David Attenborough films. Also, to become acquainted with the work of W. H. Hudson, Rachel Carson, Vincent van Gogh, and Ernest Hemingway.
Enjoy 1 free Sentinel article or audio program each month, including content from 1898 to today.
