"Refusing To Be Deterred by a string of failures in exploring Mars, Russian space officals have proposed an ambitious international project to send a. . .crew to the planet around 2015.
"Russia's space program hopes to work closely with NASA and the European Space Agency on an expedition that would transport a six-person team to Mars, said Nikolai Anfimov, head of the Central Research Institute of Machine-Building.
"The mission would support the space travelrs on the planet for up to two months and then safely bring them home, Anfimov said. . . .
